Congratulations to the McKeesport High School A Cappella Choir and Flute Ensembles on their trip to Harrisburg and the State Capitol, Friday, March 16, 2007.  The students were amazed at how beautiful the building was and how amazing they sounded when they performed!

March is Music in Our Schools Month and the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association arranges for school groups to perform in the rotunda during the lunch hour for the whole month of March.  McKeesport was selected and braved the weather last Friday and really enjoyed the experience.

Congratulations on a wonderful performance and for helping to bring awareness to Harrisburg on the vital importance of music in our schools.
