Joe Campus joined the Progressive Music team in 2002 where he works on the road as a sales representative visiting school four days a week and works in the retail showroom one day a week. Prior to working at Progressive, Joe was a band director for 30 years at Clairton High School. He was a staff arranger for the University of Pittsburgh band for ten years. He has also done arrangements for the River City Brass Band as well as many high school bands. Joe traveled with noted tenor Enzo Stuarti as an arranger and conductor for six years.

Receiving a Bachelor's of Music Education from Duquesne University and California University of Pennsylvania, Joe has his music certification from Duquesne University.

"My proudest career achievement was arranging and conducting LPs for Epic Records," commented Joe.

Joe's favorite movie is "The Glenn Miller Story". Joe also enjoys watching TV, playing poker and sipping fine wine. Joe fills his time rehearsing bands and orchestras as well as working with his own band, "The Joe Campus Big Band".

Joe is a member of MENC: The National Association for Music Education, PMEA: The Pennsylvania Music Educator's Association and NEA: The National Education Association.
